Chef/Owner Chris Bond grew up in the South West of England and has worked in many 5 star restaurants in London. He has a degree in Patisserie and enjoys sharing his knowledge of food and flavours not only to his apprentices but to the regular diners also.
Your hostess & functions co-ordinator Jodi Bond met Chris whilst travelling in England, she also has a background of working in 5 star establishments; she has been a wedding co-ordinator in Cornwall and a Country Inn manager in Dorset. Her friendly nature and her ability to exceed customer expectations won’t get forgotten.
Jodi & Chris took over a hidden away little back street cafe in 2006 and within 12 months transformed it into a very popular & successful establishment that made Pomodoras a name most locals knew, not only did they grow their good food reputation in Maleny but extended their family to 3, with the birth of their first child Emma in September 2009.
Now 4 years on and very much known Maleny locals, they take on a new venture, which has been their dream and goal for many years, a newly built customized restaurant overlooking the Obi Obi Creek with a bonus of offering luxury cabin accommodation in the heart of Maleny.
Together they complement each other’s abilities and call Maleny home.
